Available Activities and Resources

While in the course, the central part of the view contains the course content, which is usually divided into sections, i.e. course modules. The first module usually contains basic information about the course (introduction), i.e. syllabus, literature, description of the course modules and the rules for using them, a glossary of terms. The next modules contain material from individual topics or classes. In the case of a course supporting traditional teaching, only teaching materials may be included (without additional descriptions provided by the teacher).

The left part of the view may contain blocks that help you use the course. Depending on the context, these can be:

  • View grades(gradebook with quiz/exercise results)

  • View of upcoming events (information about  access date for quiz, exercise, etc.

  • Access to chosen type of component ( platform functionality)

  • Main menu; available on  main page of platform, contains news

  • Navigation block; in first block we have many useful options. The main functionality is ability to move in courses and component of courses.

The main content of the course can be shaped by the palette of activities and resources that determine the value of the e-Learning platform.
