Questions about post:
You don't need an email address to activate your portal account. For more information, see the answer to the question below.
Simply complete the account activation process on the My PG portal (Create an account tab). The account created in this process allows you to access email, the Eduroam network, and the My PG portal – all using the same login and password.
Employees receive an account in the pg.edu.pl domain, and the account name (login) is assigned automatically by the system. An email alias in the form of firstname.lastname@pg.edu.pl is automatically assigned to the employee account, which can be entered as an email address. All messages sent to the alias firstname.lastname@pg.edu.pl will be sent to the account login@pg.edu.pl. Please note that an email alias is not a login – you can only log in to your email account using the system-assigned account name (login). Employee email can be accessed through the website poczta.pg.edu.pl, among other places.
Students (including doctoral candidates not bound by an employment contract with Gdańsk University of Technology) receive an account in the student.pg.edu.pl domain. Email aliases are not created in this case. Access to student email is available, among other options, through the poczta.pg.edu.pl website.
Questions about certificates
All instructions are available on the eduroam website.
When downloading a user certificate, it is not always regenerated (for example, when a valid certificate is already generated on the server), which can lead to a situation where, after changing the password, you can download the certificate using the current, new password, but you cannot unpack it. In this case, you should use one of the previous passwords to unpack the certificate. Certificates are valid for 180 days. Ten days before the current certificate expires, the server will generate a new certificate compressed with the current password.
If the user cannot remember the previous password that will allow unpacking the certificate, please contact the Helpdesk using the contact form (IT ticket) and request the removal of the current certificate from the server. After this operation, you will be able to generate a new certificate compressed with the current password.
For an encrypted connection to the portal, you must install the PG root certificate as described on this page.

Questions about filing applications:
Applications for ELS are submitted via the university portal Moja PG (and not, for example, via the student post office).
Before submitting your application, please prepare a photo that meets the requirements described in the question below. After logging in to your My PG account, go to the Student → Documents → Submit Application application and select the application type: ELS Issue with Change of Personal Data. Upload the photo in the form window. Uploading the photo involves clicking the Upload image button, selecting the folder containing the photo, clicking the photo itself, and then clicking the Open button. The photo should appear on the screen.
The photo in JPG/JPEG format must have minimum dimensions of 300 x 240 pixels and a maximum allowable size of 500kB.
Log in to My PG with your login and password to view the fee amount. The fee is visible after submitting a request. To view the fee, go to the Student application → Payments → My invoices. In the Payments tab, select My invoices, and then click on the name of the appropriate invoice. The information needed to make the payment will be displayed. From there, you can use the link provided to generate a payment slip (print it and pay at the post office or bank) or a link to ePayments or a QR code for mobile payments. Paying via ePayments or mobile payments significantly reduces the wait time for your student ID.
Once the submitted application has been assigned the "Receipt" status, the ELS will not be available for collection until payment is credited to the university's account.
After activating your account, log in to the My PG portal and go to the Student application → Documents → Submit an application. Then, select your field of study from the list and, in the next step, the type of application you wish to submit.
All information and notifications from the system are sent to an email address in the pg.edu.pl or student.pg.edu.pl domain. Additionally, on the My PG portal, by going to My Account → My Data, you can add an additional email address for notifications (in the System Notifications section).
Questions about pays:
All the information needed to make a payment is available on the My PG portal in the Student → Payments application. In the Account Number tab, you'll find the account number to which all fees should be paid. In the My Invoices tab, you'll find invoices to be paid. When paying invoices, remember to include their numbers in the transfer title (if you're paying more than one invoice with a single transfer, the invoice numbers in the transfer title should be separated by commas). Remember that the transfer title should contain ONLY the invoice number, e.g.: FS123/9876/2021 – without any additional information.
If the funds were transferred/paid to the correct account number, they will definitely be credited to the Gdańsk University of Technology account. This process may take several days. If the funds haven't appeared in your account after a week of making the transfer/payment, please contact us using the contact form (IT notification).
If a payment was made to an incorrect account number that no longer exists, please check with your bank to see if the transfer has been returned (usually, transfers that could not be processed are automatically returned to the customer's account, although sometimes this does not happen and you need to contact the bank via their hotline). If the transfer was made to an incorrect account number and it was not automatically rejected, please contact the PG Bursary Office directly to resolve the matter.
Sometimes, due to incorrect payment data import, the status of paid invoices changes. This is simply a display error in the My PG Portal and usually lasts a day. Payment data is securely stored in the financial systems, and there's no way payment information can be "lost." Do not re-pay already paid invoices.
Payments are imported daily in the afternoon and evening. During this time, payment data may be out of date. A message will be displayed in your student account while the import is in progress. Payment data is securely stored in the financial systems; please do not re-pay already paid invoices.
Questions about main site PG/eKontakt/Drupal:
Only authorized users can edit pages. If you have permission but are unable to edit a page, please ensure you are connected via the university's network.
The data displayed on employee business cards is retrieved from the HR system (including data from employee contracts) and the My PG portal. If any irregularities are found, you should first contact the Human Resources Department to verify the accuracy of the data in the HR system. Then, log in to My PG and access My Account. After updating the data here, the data on the business card will be updated within 24 hours.
Questions about site eNauczanie:
PG employees and students should log in to the eNauczanie platform using their university account (i.e., provide the same login and password used for the Moja PG portal). It is also possible to create a local account on the eNauczanie platform (unlinked to the university account). Individuals who do not have a PG account, such as participants in courses, training sessions, or projects (e.g., "Zdolni z Pomorza"), should log in to eNauczanie using a local account.
Grades for courses requiring completion of the eNauczanie system appear on the My PG portal when the Dean's Office issues transcripts to instructors. This is typically the end of the regular and resit sessions. If all requirements for passing the course have been met, the regular session has passed, and the course transcript has not appeared in My PG, you should verify your course credit and contact the instructor to clarify the matter (preferably before the resit session ends).
All opportunities to record a course credit end at the end of the resit session, when academic teachers are required to return transcripts to the Dean's Office. After this deadline, it is not possible to record a credit.
Course grades are typically entered from the eNauczanie platform to the My PG portal at the end of the initial and retake sessions. If all requirements for passing have been met and a pass has not been granted, two aspects should be verified:
Whether the student logged into the system with their university account to pass the course on the eNauczanie platform (if not, they must log in with their university account and take the course/take the test again).
Whether the student's first name, last name, or student ID number in the My PG portal has changed since the initial login to the eNauczanie platform, which may not have been transferred to the eNauczanie system (if any discrepancies are detected, a data unification request should be submitted to the Helpdesk). Data is synchronized in one direction only: My PG → eNauczanie, so it is important to ensure its accuracy in the My PG system.
All opportunities to enter a course grade end at the end of the retake session, when academic teachers are required to return the transcripts to the Dean's Office. After this deadline it is not possible to enter a credit.
