How to Conduct a Test Call in Microsoft Teams

    • If you want to check if your microphone, camera, and sound are working properly in Microsoft Teams, you can conduct a test call. Here are the steps:

    1. Open Microsoft Teams

    • Launch the Microsoft Teams app on your computer (or open the web version).

    • Make sure you are logged into the correct account. If in doubt, Microsoft Outlook

    • Microsoft Outlook.

    2. Go to Device Settings

    • Click the three dots (⋯) next to your avatar in the upper right corner.

    • Select SETTINGS.

    • In the left menu, click devices.

    3. Make a Test Call

    • Find the sound section.

    • Click the Conduct a Test Call in button.

    • Teams will make a test call and record a few seconds of your voice, then play it back to check the sound quality.

    4. End the Test and Adjust Settings (if needed)

    • If the test was successful – everything is working correctly, you can close the window.
