Transferring or copying personal or team files to OneDrive

Using the Teams app on your computer or in the web can quickly move or copy personal or team files. Currently, all Microsoft groups have been integrated, and now every group, whether it is SharePoint, MS Teams, or for example in MS Project, is simply a Microsoft group. The best option is to copy them to OneDrive available within the m365 platform.

To move or copy a file in the Teams app:

In Teams, select OneDrive -> My files.
Find the file you want to move or copy.

Note:

If the file is in the My files area, hover over the file and select More options More options button > Open file location.

To locate a file from a specific channel:

Find the channel in Quick access or More places....
Go to the channel and select the Files tab.

Hover over the file and select More options More options button -> Move to Move to folder icon or Copy to Copy button.

Notes:

To move or copy multiple files to the same location, hover over each file and check the checkbox in the left column.

Then select More options More options button next to one of the files and select Move to Move to folder icon or Copy to Copy button.

Select the folder to which you want to move or copy the files.
Select Move here.

Note:

You don't need to copy the file to share it in multiple channels and chats. Instead, share a link to it.

CUI removes Teams in Teams to free up unused resources.

Removing Teams that either do not have active members, have not been used for at least a year, or whose name does not meet the current regulatory requirements for MS Teams groups.
For organizational purposes and the necessity to free up unused resources, periodic actions are planned (always preceded by an email and a transition period). Closing and deleting all data related to the following Groups/Teams.

Regarding the data that is on created teams, in my opinion, the best option is to copy them to OneDrive available within the m365 platform.
