EDGE - import of bookmarks

Exporting bookmarks from Google Chrome, Opera, Firefox, Safari and importing them to Microsoft Edge is a simple process that can be done in a few steps. By following the instructions below, you will ensure that your bookmarks from Google Chrome, Opera, Firefox, Safari will also be available in Edge.

 Instructions

  1. Open the Opera browser on your computer.

  2. Press the Ctrl+Shift+B key combination.

  3. In the bookmarks manager, click at the bottom Open full bookmarks view.

  4. In the next window

  5. Select Export bookmarks.

  6. Choose the location where you want to save the file (for example, Desktop) and click Save. The file will be saved as bookmarks.html.

  1. Launch the Google Chrome browser on your computer.

  2. Press the key combination Ctrl+Shift+O

  3. In the bookmark manager, click the three dots (menu) in the upper right corner of the bookmark manager.

  4. Select EXPORT BOOKMARKS.

  5. Choose the location where you want to save the file (for example, Desktop) and click SAVE.
    The file will be saved as bookmarks.html.

  1. Launch the Firefox browser on your computer.

  2. Press the Ctrl+Shift+O key combination.

  3. In the bookmarks library window, click Import and Backup.

  4. Select Export Bookmarks to HTML File....

  5. Choose the location where you want to save the file (for example, Desktop) and click Save. The file will be saved as bookmarks.html.

  1. Launch the Safari browser on your Mac.

  2. Click the FILE menu on the top menu bar.

  3. Select the EXPORT BOOKMARKS option.

  4. Choose the location where you want to save the file (for example, Desktop)

    and click SAVE. The file will be saved as Safari Bookmarks.html.

  1. Launch the Microsoft Edge browser on your computer.

  2. Click the three dots (menu) in the upper right corner of the browser.

  3. Choose the option BOOKMARKS or FAVOuRITEs

  4. Click the three dots (menu) in the upper right of the new dialog window → IMport favourites

  5. Choose what you want to import

    6. We indicate the previously exported HTML file.

  1. After successfully completing the process, you should receive a message.
