Windows remote help
The Helpdesk team has the ability to remotely connect to computers – to enable remote assistance, please prepare your computer for remote help - at the University, we use the Teamviewer application, please download and run the program below:
WARNING!
Do not provide your ID and password or session code if you are not sure that you are speaking with a member of the Helpdesk/CUI team at Gdańsk University of Technology!
You should exercise particular caution when:
someone calls us claiming to be a member of the Helpdesk or PG team, even though we have not reported any error
a link to the program or the program itself is sent via email, along with a request for your ID and password or session code
we see a notification about an unannounced connection to the computer (bottom right corner of the computer)
