Account on Moja PG and basic accesses

Below are general information about obtaining access to the systems of Gdańsk University of Technology.

General note - it should be remembered that a Student can be an Employee, an Employee can become a Student, a Student can become a Listener, etc. Obtaining standard permissions for a given type of account always occurs through account activation, and extending permissions to a new role happens during reactivation, using the current password for Moja PG.

The colors in the table "mean nothing," they are only meant to facilitate reading the individual columns. On smaller monitors, the table may not fit - a horizontal scrollbar is located at the bottom of the table along with the column labels, and the row labels are also repeated on the right side. Footnotes are located below the table.

Exceptions:

  • A doctoral student who was a PG Student and wants to obtain a mail alias in the domain pg.edu.pl - a reactivation of the student account must be performed, necessarily using the same password that was used for the student account (this will be the same mailbox).

  • A doctoral student who has signed an employment or civil law contract activates the account as described in columns A and B (this will be a new, employee mailbox), unless they became a doctoral student after the activation of the employee account.

The Employee's Supervisor applies to the Helpdesk for the assignment of roles and permissions to the specified applications/systems. The application should be sent via zgloszenia.pg.edu.pl (IT Requests).

The Employee's Supervisor requests the Helpdesk to assign roles and permissions to the specified applications/systems. The request should be submitted through zgloszenia.pg.edu.pl (IT Submissions).

Student Guardian, promoter, Dean, Deputy Dean, the Dean's Office requests the Helpdesk to assign roles and permissions for the specified applications/systems. The application should be sent via zgloszenia.pg.edu.pl (IT Submissions).

Obtaining access to Moja PG including personal data

The Employee's Supervisor applies to the Helpdesk for the assignment of roles and permissions to the specified applications/systems. The request should be sent via zgloszenia.pg.edu.pl (IT Reports). The employee who is to be granted permissions must sign a personal data protection statement: APPENDIX 1.6 to ZR20/20187) - the statement is issued by KJO and forwarded to GUZ4) - the statement should be submitted concurrently with the application for granting permissions, and permissions will only be granted after the statement is submitted to ASI (GUZ forwards it to ASI).

The Employee's Supervisor submits a request to the Helpdesk for granting roles and permissions to the specified applications/systems. The application should be sent via zgloszenia.pg.edu.pl (IT Submissions). The employee who is to be granted permissions must sign a personal data protection statement: APPENDIX 1.6 to ZR20/20187) - the statement is issued by KJO and forwarded to GUZ4) - the statement should be submitted simultaneously with the request for granting permissions, and permissions will only be granted after the statement is forwarded to ASI (GUZ sends it to ASI).

The Employee's Supervisor or KJO requests the Helpdesk to assign roles and permissions to the specified applications/systems. The request should be sent via zgloszenia.pg.edu.pl (IT Submissions). The employee to whom the permissions are to be granted must sign a personal data protection statement: ATTACHMENT 1.6 to ZR20/20187) - the statement is issued by KJO and forwarded to GUZ4) - the statement should be submitted concurrently with the application for granting permissions, and permissions will only be granted after the statement has been submitted to ASI (GUZ forwards it to ASI).

The Dean requests the Helpdesk to assign roles and permissions to the specified applications/systems. The application should be sent via zgloszenia.pg.edu.pl (IT Submissions). The employee to whom the permissions are to be granted must sign a personal data protection statement: ATTACHMENT 1.6 to ZR20/20187) - the statement is issued by KJO and forwarded to GUZ4) - the statement should be submitted simultaneously with the application for granting permissions, and the permissions will only be granted after the statement is delivered to ASI (GUZ forwards it to ASI).

Obtaining access to Moja PG including personal data

Accessing Moja PG (and other systems) from outside the polytechnic network.

The employee has the option to connect to the polytechnic network in two ways:

  1. Through the website vpn.pg.edu.pl - you need to log in using your username and password for Moja PG - this is a VPN with basic access and not all systems are accessible through it or not all function 100% correctly.

  2. Using the OpenVPN software, after previously notifying your intention to use OpenVPN to Moja PG or the Repository (upon the employee's request) via zgloszenia.pg.edu.pl (IT Requests), configuration instructions: OpenVPN Client Configuration (Windows) - instructions.

  3. Using the OpenVPN software, after previously notifying your intention to use OpenVPN for other systems (upon the supervisor's request) via zgloszenia.pg.edu.pl (IT Requests) after obtaining permission from the CUI Director, configuration instructions: OpenVPN Client Configuration (Windows) - instructions.

The employee has the option to connect to the network only via OpenVPN:

  1. Using the OpenVPN software, after previously notifying the desire to use OpenVPN to Moja PG or the Repository (at the employee's request) through zgloszenia.pg.edu.pl (IT Requests), configuration instructions: OpenVPN Client Configuration (Windows) - instructions

  2. Using the OpenVPN software, after previously notifying the desire to use OpenVPN for other systems (at the request of the supervisor) through zgloszenia.pg.edu.pl (IT Requests) after obtaining the consent of the Director of CUI, configuration instructions: OpenVPN Client Configuration (Windows) - instructions

Access to EZD (Electronic Document Management)

Access to EZD is granted after training on the system's operation; the demand for training should be reported to the DOAD team using the form: Contact form (pg.edu.pl)

Account on the MS Teams platform

An account on the MS Teams platform is created only after the account on Moja PG is activated. After a minimum of 24 hours from the account activation, you can perform a password reset on the MS Teams platform using the login iminazw@o365.pg.edu.pl (shortened login).

Revocation of Permissions

Revocation of permissions occurs a) at the request of the supervisor; b) after receiving information from HR about the termination of employment.

Notes

  1. Personal visits to the Helpdesk require a form of identification.

  2. In the case of duplicate surnames, logins and/or aliases are created containing consecutive numbers; for hyphenated surnames, there may be an issue with properly creating the alias (in such cases, contact the Helpdesk for correction).
