Immersive Reader - Enhancements for Reading and Concentration

1. Log in to your work email in Outlook web https://outlook.office.com

2. Open the email you want to read in immersive reader mode.

3. Click view, then select immersive reader

4. Outlook will switch the view to reader mode, where the text will be formatted clearly, distracting elements will disappear, and you can enable supportive features such as:

• Read Aloud

• Adjusting spacing, background colors, and font

• Syllable division

• Highlighting parts of speech

• Translation

5. To exit the mode, click the ← icon in the upper left corner or select the button

Use of the Immersive Reader Feature

• Improved concentration – elimination of visual elements and focus on content.

• Support for individuals with dyslexia and reading difficulties – ability to divide into syllables, change contrast, enlarge text.

• Learning foreign languages – translation feature and pictorial dictionary.
