Filling out a copyright declaration in the graduation process
A student who has received the supervisor's approval to upload their thesis to the Moja PG system must complete the Copyright Declaration.
To do this, the student needs to log into the Moja PG system and navigate to the application: Student → Studies → Diplomas → Details of the selected diploma.
In the Thesis Files section, a notification will appear about the need to submit the declaration before uploading the thesis.
You need to click on the "Copyright Statement" link, and the system will redirect you to a new window where you should select the appropriate diploma type (e.g., bachelor's thesis, engineering thesis, master's thesis, etc.) from the dropdown list, and then review the content of the statement.
After reviewing the content of the statement, in point 2, you must indicate whether Generative AI tools were used during the writing of the thesis. If tools with a potentially high degree of involvement were utilized, select this option and then specify the areas where the tools were applied by clicking "Add use area of GenAI tool."
After clicking "Add use area of GenAI tool" a modal window will appear where you need to select the area of usage from the dropdown list, specify the page range, and enter the name of the tool that was used.
After filling in the modal, click "Add," and the entry will appear in the table. Repeat this process to add all the GenAI tools used.
After adding all the applied tools, you can either save a draft copy or accept the statement.
The draft copy will allow you to download the document containing the statement, but you will still not be able to upload the thesis files.
Accepting the statement will allow you to upload the thesis file and submit it to your supervisor.
The signed statement will be available for download in the diploma details section under "Thesis Files."
