Autodesk Software

Autodesk Education Plan provides students and academics with free access to Autodesk software and educational tools.

To use the software you must be a logged in and verified user. If you already have an account you should log in to the site and download the software.

If you do not have an Autodesk account, you can create one:

1. By going to https://www.autodesk.pl/ or https://www.autodesk.com/ and then go to Sign in tab in the upper right corner.

By clicking Create account you will be sent to a form where you need to provide your first name, last name, email address (you need to provide an address in the domain @student.pg.edu.pl or @pg.edu.pl for employees). Then provide a password (password must contain a minimum of 8 characters, including at least 1 letter, at least 1 number and 3 special characters) and accept the terms of use of Autodesk and confirm that you have read the privacy policy.

3. When you click Create Account, you will receive a verification e-mail at the address you provided.

4. You need to log in to your email to verify your email address and activate your account.

5. In the next step you need to complete your educational profile. Start typing the name of the university and select Gdansk University of Technology (Politechnika Gdańska) from the drop-down list. Gdansk University of Technology is in the list of universities and there is no need to add it as a new university. (If you do not see your school in the list, click the link to add a school and fill out the form. Note that it may take up to seven days to validate and add your school to the list).

6. Make sure your account information is correct before continuing. If the information you entered is correct, click Next to confirm that you are eligible for the free software. You may be asked to confirm your identity and eligibility status for the software.
   The check is done through PG's central login point. Once the status has been successfully checked, a confirmation will be sent to the e-mail provided during registration.

7. The license is granted for a period of 1 year. After it expires, the system will ask you to verify your identity again.

8. Once your eligibility is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email welcoming you to the educational community. The email will contain links to a page where you can download the software, support resources and the learning community page.

9. From this point on, you will have access to the educational plan for a full year, which can be renewed as long as you are a PG student or employee.
