Inserting tables

Inserting ordinary tables

To insert table click on table icon in editor:

We set basic parameters of the table (e.g. number of columns and rows), and then click Insert button:

The table inserted in this way is empty, it should be filled in with data. After entering the data and saving the page, the table will look like this:

This type of table can be used, for example, to arrange data on a page, i.e. to create a kind of page layout, but the data does not look the best on it. It is better to insert a table with the selected style.

Insering tables with style

We are starting with table icon:

In the table parameters pane, we expand the Class list and select a table class from it (one of the available: wide, framed, highlighted, alternating):

After selecting, for example, a framed table, filling it with data and saving, it will look as follows:

Of course, the other styles have a different look – it's worth experimenting on your own.

Inserting tables with many styles

It is also possible to insert a table with many styles – for this we first insert a table with one style (as shown above), then display the page source by clickking on the icon (<>):

In the HTML source we find the section with the table (it starts with "<table"), then its class (marked below):

By entering here the table properties (wide, framed, highlighted, alternating) we can combine them freely with each other to obtain, for example, a wide illuminated or alternating table with a border.

NOTE

Remember that next table parameters should be separated by a space, without any additional characters.

Our example table with the classes: wide, framed and highlighted, after saving will look like this:

Only the row above which the mouse cursor is held is highlighted.
